Construction of the Sports Curricula System in General Universities of the Northeast Area

By adopting the sports courses theory, combining the relative teaching theory, introducing the latest research achievements at home and abroad and considering the actual situation in the northeast area of physical education in general universities, the authors have constructed a curricula system containing five factors: course goals, course content, teaching methods, course construction, Resource exploitation and course evaluation. To achieve these, the authors propose the following strategies: Course arrangement and structure of physical education should list speed skating as a required course and open snow sports as an elective course taking into account the characteristics of the cold and long winter. Some physical courses which are of practical use, such as the sports defense and health care lessons etc., can be set based on the physical resources of the course. The theory courses should be combined with the practical courses and some flexibility will be needed to adapt to the difficulties caused by the changes of season and temperature to the practice courses outdoors. Therefore the construction and exploitation of the curricula within each universitys own characteristics, will lay a solid foundation for the formation of the students lifelong sports idea.
