RGPS-based Requirement Evolution Modeling A case study

Although researchers from the software engineering community recognized the significance of requirement evolution, requirement evolution has received little attention, in marked contrast with requirement analysis and other research fields of requirement engineering. Providing on-demand services in terms of users changing needs is very important for software companies in a new era of cloud computing. In this paper, we propose a meta-model for requirement evolution with aspects based on RGPS meta-model framework, which may guide the smooth transition from users personalized requirements to suitable Web services. The empirical analysis of an industrial case study highlights requirements evolution as an important issue, and demonstrates the effectiveness of such a meta-model.
