Laboratory Efficacy Test Based on Hyperspectral Imaging Technique
The aim of this paper is to evaluate the function of Erythropoietin (EPO) on diabetic retinopathy (DR) based on hyperspectral imaging technique. The technology originated from remote sense and now is used freshly on biomedical discipline in the near field. With a new way different from traditional efficacy test, this paper investigated the hyperspectral feature of retinal cells of three kinds of animals: diabetic, normal, and EPO-treated rats. Experiment results showed that the spectral characteristics of the EPO group were similar to that of the normal ones compare to diabetes group. It is concluded that this drug has curative effect on DR diabetic rats.
