Joint Cluster Cooperative Routing in Multi-hop Wireless Ad hoc Networks
Energy efficient problem for multi-hop wireless Ad hoc networks based on cooperative transmission is studied in this paper. A Joint Cluster Cooperative Routing (JCCR) is proposed, which selects cooperative nodes from its neighbors at each hop and then cooperatively transmit packets to the next hop. The algorithm is based on shortest path routing protocol. Simulation results show that the more nodes added in the network, the more energy saving compared to traditional uncooperative shortest path algorithm (DSP) and Cooperative Along the Minimum Energy NonCooperative Path (CAN) algorithm can be achieved. Further more, the efficiency of the number of nodes participating in cooperative transmission at each hop is discussed.
