XML-based Information Processing Method for E-Government Public Service Channels Integration
E-Government is creating a convenient, transparent, and cheap interaction between government and citizens, government and business enterprises, relationship between governments, and government and employees. However, current e-Governments can not enable these service channels to information process, such as information sharing, reuse, distribution, etc. This paper is devoted to presenting a systematic information processing method for e-Government public service channels integration. After the four types of e-Government are introduced, three main public service channels, phone, network and field service channel are then put forward and modeled with entityrelationship diagram. The service channel information processing model based on XML is present Analysis of the role of public service channel information and information management features, a unified model of public service channel information- public service channel information unit is then proposed based on XML-description language, as shown e-Government channel information model ::=< Identity, Sen ice purpose, Service content, Service workflow, Evaluation, Remark >. The framework of e-Government public service channel based on XML and Web service is then proposed. The information process of eGovernment for declaring Hukou is given as an example, which demonstrates that this method is obviously helpful for e-Government public service channel integration.
