Modularity Organizations in IT Industry

摘要：

There has been a modularity trend in IT industry since 1960s. On the basis of modular decomposition of product system, different intermediate products are assigned to different enterprises and then integrated, thus form a network among enterprises known as modularity organization. A modularity organization is an economic system with special information processing pattern and unique competitive advantages. The emergence of modularity organization leads to the change of IT industrial organizations. Adjustments should be made to companies competitive strategies and governments industrial policies.
