Research on Automatic Incident Detection System Based on Video Image

摘要：

For the development of automatic detection system of the highway traffic incident, the research about the system has gradually focused on using pattern recognition and image processing to identify the video signal and simulated the way of traffic abnormity with intellective distinguish to make detection of moving vehicle, detection of moving motion, vehicle tracking and automation of traffic incident detection realized with the video image information supplied by surveillance camera on highway. Along with the need of traffic monitor on national highway, this paper gives a concrete research on automatic incident detection based on video image, which shows that a kind of video detector and its engineering test has been achieved and this detector has been in use successfully.
