Reflections on the Translation Course for the Major of Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language
There are many problems in translation course for the major of teaching Chinese as a foreign language. This paper gives some ideas and suggestions in course orientation, teaching tasks and aims, teaching contents and teaching method. It points out that this course is between the level of teaching translation and translation teaching;its ultimate goal is to help students to develop the awareness of translation and to develop their perceptual knowledge into rational knowledge. The teachers must pay attention to the five aspects in designing the teaching contents. And it also gives suggestions and method about three parts of translation teaching process.
