The Intelligent-Water-Drop Based Routing Algorithm for MANET

摘要：

In this paper we propose the Intelligent-Water-Drop based routing algorithm for MANET. Mobile Ad-hoc Network (MANET) is a set of mobile nodes that connect with each other and no pre-installed infrastructure is needed to transfer data traffic. Due to the mobility of the nodes and the limited transmitting power of radio signals a series of problems are raised compared to traditional wired networks. The Intelligent Water Drop (IWD) algorithm is the recent achievement in Swarm Intelligence field. The movement of water drops in rivers is modeled in the algorithm, utilizing which we managed to solve the problems in MANET.
