A Study of 3D Face Reconstruction From a Non-front photograph with Any Angle

After analysis of existed 3D reconstruction method based on frontal face photograph from any angle, we proposed a new 3D reconstruction method. It is based on non-frontal photograph. In our method, firstly, the non-frontal photograph was automatically rotated to some angle to the needed position by human face detection process. Then the face feature points were marked by using matlab to extract the facial texture information. At last the face region texture was stuck to 3D face model through grid map. The experiments have proved that the method has better sense of reality and great comprehensive application value.
