Digital Product Customization Competition and Quality Uncertainty
Considering quality uncertainty in digital product customization, we analyze the customizaiton competition effect to digital producer. We find that in the compeptitive market, when one producer adopts customization strategy, his ival has to low his standard product price but the formers standard product price will change according to different quality uncertaity; and when producer dopts customizaiton strategy, through collecting earnest he avoids his investment in customization failure; the earnest is relative with quality uncertainty and he interval of uncertainty is divide into three parts; in the middle part of ncertainty interval, the earnest is mono-decreasing.
