FAILURE RISK ANALYSIS FOR LEVEE SLOPE IN CONSIDERATION OF INFLUENCE OF IMMERSIONAL WETTING

Failure of slope is an important failure mode for risk analysis of levee. There is higher water level for levee in the course of flood protection,the section of levee body is immersed in flood water to add failure risk of slope. The calculating method for failure risk of slope slip in consideration of influence of immersion wetting is more complicated method at present. In this paper,a simpler analysis method for failure risk of levee slope is provided on the basis of the Swedish circle method,in which the influence of immersion wetting on risk probability of levee slope slip can be analyzed. The calculating result shows that the provided method can be used to analyze failure risk of levee slope slip for failure risk evaluation of levee engineering.
