SHEAR ANALYSIS OF HSC BEAM WITHOUT STIRRUPS BASED ON MCFT
This paper aim at studying shear capacity of high strength RC beams without stirrups through analysis on tested beams in literatures. The result indicates that the GB and ACI equation describes the shear capacity of such beams exaggeratedly and meanwhile fails to reflect the influence rules of each single factor in high strength concrete area. Therefore,the formula for calculating the shear capacity of high strength RC beams based on MCFT is put forward. According to analysis on the collected test results,the calculation result has smaller discreteness than that calculated by GB shear equation and can better reflect the influence of concrete strength,effective height and tension reinforcement ratio on the shear capacity.
