CALCULATION METHOD FOR SHEAR BEARING CAPACITY OF STEEL HIGH PERFORMANCE CONCRETE SHEAR WALLS
To study shear bearing capacity of steel high performance concrete (SHPC) shear walls,three specimens of SHPC shear walls were tested and shear failure occurred on all specimens. The main factors that influence on its failure pattern,bearing capacity and ductility are analyzed. Combined with experimental results,on the basis of calculation model of steel reinforced concrete(SRC) shear walls in the current Technical Specification for Steel Reinforced Concrete Composite Structures,the calculation formula for shear bearing capacity of SHPC shear walls is presented in this paper. According to the comparison between experimental results and calculations,it is found that the formula coincides with the experimental results well,whose calculating results tend to be safe.
