CYCLIC LOADING TESTS ON NEW TYPE OF ASSEMBLED MONOLITHIC CONCRETE FRAME
Precast concrete could provide the advantages of high quality control,savings in materials and labor,construction efficiency,time and cost savings,and have been widely used in many countries. This paper presents a brief report on the research work carried out by the research panel in Tongji University during the past years. A series of cyclic loading tests,including composite concrete Tbeams,precast concrete connections and frame,were performed to systematically investigate the seismic behaviour of a new type of assembled monolithic concrete frame. The seismic behaviour was evaluated in terms of failure mode,energy dissipation,etc. The main results were presented and discussed. The results in this paper could be instructive for the application of precast concrete structures in seismic zones.
