DYNAMIC NUMERICAL ANALYSIS ON EFFICACY OF CFG-PILE CAPS IN LOW EMBANKMENT

Dynamic numerical simulation has been done to analyze the composite foundation with CFG-pile by pile caps and no pile caps in low embankment of BeijingShanghai high-speed railway. Distributing rules of dynamic displacement and dynamic stress of the subgrade surface and ground surface on the cross section,attenuation rules of dynamic response and dynamic stress ratio between pile and soil on the vertical section were studied. It shows that the dynamic stress of pile and soil generally attenuates in depth and attenuation of dynamic stress ratio between pile and soil mostly concentrates into the scope of 5 meters beneath the ground. Moreover application of CFG-pile with pile caps can effectively reduce the dynamic stress and dynamic displacement of subgrade. The dynamic stress ratio between pile and soil with pile caps is bigger than that with no pile caps in the scope of 5 meters beneath the ground,which causes piles to undertake most dynamic stress and decrease dynamic stress of soil. As a result,it enhances the dynamic stability of subgrade. It will be instructive to control design and construction for the low embankment in BeijingShanghai high-speed railway.
