EFFECT OF THE STIFFNESS RATIO ON THE FORCE APPLIED TO UNDERGROUND STRUCTURE
The stiffness ratio of soil and underground structures is an important factor on the force that the structure suffered. In order to study the relationship between the force applied to structure and the soil -structure stiffness ratio,a typical subway station finite element model is established by the use of finite element software ABAQUS. The seismic response of plane S wave affects on the underground structure with different soil - structure stiffness ratio is analyzed respectively. The results show that: the maximum stress that underground structures suffered increases with the increase of soil - structure stiffness ratio, but not unlimited increases,it tends to a limit value; relationship between soil - structure stiffness ratio and the maximum stress of underground structures suffered is proved to be hyperbolic bv fitting the numerical simulation results.
