EFFECTS OF UNLOADING STIFFNESS DEGENERATION OF PLASTIC HINGE MODEL ON DYNAMIC CHARACTERISTICS OF RC BUILDING
In order to study the effects of unloading stiffness degeneration of plastic hinge model of reinforced concrete structures during seismic input waves,elastic-plastic dynamic analysis of a 7-story RC frame under earthquake loading was performed in this paper. The analysis results show that, the concrete on the fringe of the cross section will be crack and peel of under cyclic load and both load and unload stiffness of plastic hinge degenerate due to decrease cross section area; dissipated energy of the plastic hinge will be overrated without considering unload stiffness degeneration of unload stiffness and the acceleration response of the structure will be underrated meanwhile; the relative story drift will be enlarged because of the unload stiffness degeneration of plastic hinge.
