RESEARCH OF PORE STRUCTURE OF PHOSPHOALUMINATE CEMENT PASTE USING MERCURY POROSIMETRY
Pore characteristization of phosphoaluminate cement (PAC) by mercury intrusion porosimetry is presented in this experimental work. Fractal dimension of pore volume based on Menger sponge theory, and effect of W/C ratio and hydration age on pore size distribution were analyzed. According to the previous studies, mercury intrusion porosimetry (MIP) has certain shortages when it was used in the analysis of pore structure of cement paste, the efficiency of MIP and nitrogen adsorption method for studying the pore system of PAC paste were compared based on the experimental results.
