CONTROL PERFORMANCE OF A NEW HYBRID CONTROL SYSTEM
A new control system tuned mass damper with double tuned liquid dampers hybrid control system (THS) is developed to handle the instability of the passive control devices in vibration control field. The design strategy of this system is discussed and the control equations are given out in this paper. Then the numerical simulation is carried out to compare the vibration reduction effect between TMD and THS when the structural dynamic parameters perturb,results show that THS can reach a better control performance compared with TMD and is expected to be applied in real engineering structures.
