Research on full-text search technology in the agricultural scientific data center based on Lucene
The Lucene is an open-source full-text retrieval engine tool kit. It has an excellent performance in the massive data. In this passage, we introduced the structure of Lucene and analyzed the composition of the Lucene index in order to improve the efficiency in traditional text retrieval methods applied in the agricultural scientific data center. After using the Lucene and related technologies to apply in the agricultural scientific data center, we compared it with traditional search method. The experiments proved that: the search method based on Lucene had more efficient and lower system resources occupancy than the one based on traditional search when they were used in large and medium-sized database of the agricultural scientific data center. Thus, as a good search method, Lucene could significantly improve the quality of service and meet the need of users in the agricultural scientific data center.
