The Use of Information and Communications Technologies and Health Research As a Voice for the Sick,Vulnerable and Marginalized and for the Improvement of Population Health
Researchers and decision-makers must pay more attention to the use of research, and need to come to view research as giving voice to the research subjects: the sick, vulnerable and marginalized;and this can all be enhanced through the use of modern, inexpensive and effective information and communications technologies. By giving voice ti research subjects and using ICTs in an iterative manner knowledge translation will be enhanced, population health will be improved and new best practices will emerge.
