Corporate Environmental Responsibility of Private Enterprises:The Necessity and Countermeasures

As an important driving force for promoting economic development, private enterprises have not played full role on Corporate Environmental Responsibility (CER), while CER is an important approach towards sustainable development. For Chinese private enterprises, commitment to environmental responsibility is necessary for sustainable development. In this paper we first define the concept of CER and explain its development trend, then analysis the necessity of fulfilling CER. Lastly, some possible solutions have been suggested for fulfilling CER.
