American Southwest Airlines Winning in Markets Competition is the Typical Case Analysis and Enlightenment
differentiation, centralization and low cost, are the enterprise competitive advantages in marketing strategies. American Southwest Airlines combine and coordinate the three competitive strategies, in just 20 years rapidly develop from smallness to bigness, from weakness to strength. It not only avoided the fierce competition risk in markets, and won competitive advantages and great achievements to which many big airlines could not match. This paper, by the method of second-hand material research of relevant information, analyzes the American Southwest Airlines market development, and sums up the competition winning strategies of marketing. Basing on this, the paper brings forward some reference experiences and competitive methods as well as strategies of which small and medium-sized enterprises participate in market competition and raise market competitive force.
