Studies on the emission character of PFC in 300kA cells

摘要：

PFC emission character of 300kA aluminium electrolysis cell is studied. It is shown that an abundance of PFC is released during the onset of anode effect in the process of aluminium electrolysis. In addition parts of the electrolytic cells present continuous emission of PFC. Small amplitude fluctuation of cell voltage is not the main reason for this continuous emission; it could be due to the inhomogeneous distribution of Al2O3 in the electrolytic cells.
