EFFECT OF DEEPLY COLD SPINNING ON PROPERTY OF NICKEL-BASE ALLOY ULTRA-THIN WELDED TUBE

Spinning of Nickel alloy large diameter ultra-thin welded tube under room temperature, a ultra-thin tube of diameter=558mm and wall thickness=0.42mm was formed. mechanical properties of C-276 weld tube was tested by tensile tests, metallurgical structure was observed by using metallurgical microscope, corrosion resistance was tested by acid immersion and observed by using metallurgical microscope. The results showed that: Tensile strength of C-276 weld cylindrical part can be improved by cold spinning process, final tensile strength of weld was increased by 10.1%; C-276 base material and weld material were both grain refined and their grain arrange directivity were enhanced by reduce wall thickness cold spinning; Through cold spinning and solution annealing, properties of the weld cylindrical part was improved.
