RESEARCH ON ELECTROMAGNETIC CRACK HEAT ARREST AND LASER REPAIR IN HOT DIE METAL

摘要：

The hot die steel contacted with hot metal are easy to produce surface cracks with withstanding higher impact and heating and cooling repeat.. This paper uses the electromagnetic heating effect theory,pulse discharge which make the crack tips passivated and form welded joints, so as to prevent further expansion of the crack.Then using loser cladding repaired the cracks.Consequently the hot die steel could be arrested and repaired.
