A STUDY ON MULTIFUNCTIONAL PROTECTIVE COATING FOR HOT STAMPING OF ULTRA HIGH-STRENGTH STEEL

摘要：

To resolve the problem of surface protection in hot stamping of ultra high-strength steel, a multifunctional coating with the effects of high temperature oxidation resistance, lubrication, mold release and thermal conductivity is prepared. The surface of the steel is protected from oxidation greater than 91.5％ by the developed coating,which could steadily exist more than 10 minutes within 1200 0C. At 950 0C , friction coefficient ofthe multifunctional coating is less than 0.11. As the advantage of avoiding crack, wrinkling and ensuring the forming precision, the developed multifunctional coating has high production value.
