Analysis and Scenarios Forecast of IP AT Equation-based Building Energy Consumption in China
Tbe building energy consumption is one of the three major areas of energy consumption, which has grown at the average annual rate of 2.3% in recent years. By the end of 2009, it has accounted for 27.19% of the social end energy consumption and has remained continuous growth. Therefore, the quantitative prediction on the development trend of building energy consumption during Chinas Twelfth Five-year Period and energy consumption amount will be highly important for the formulation of building energy efficiency policies. This paper begins by summarizing the characteristics of Chinas building energy consumption and uses IPAT equation to establish Chinas building energy analysis model. In addition, based on the analyzing and calculating building energy consumption data of some OECD countries, it simulates and analyzes three different scenarios of Chinas building energy from 2011 to 2020.
