Numerical Analysis of Construction Process for Four-Lane Large Section Highway Tunnel with FEM
Against a highway tunnel with four lanes constructed by both side drift method in class II and III surrounding rock, based on FEM, the lining structure and the stability of the surrounding rock are stimulated and analyzed. Research results show that, displacement of surrounding rock in ultra-large span highway tunnel constructed by both side drift method can be controlled effectively and reasonable construction process is obtained.
