Relation Between the Project Team Members Communication Type and the Involved Members Participation on the Challenge of Green Solutions on Buildings

This paper is a crap from a 2010 master research dissertation, under the title: Management of Project towards Less Unsustainable Architecture. The reason of the relevance is an observation and interpretation of outputs resulted from case studies, based on interviews made with an important involved member of the pre-selected green buildings as case studies. The target of this paper is highlight the connection between the rate of participation of the involved team members and the type of communication established to the development of the project during the flow of it. This paper is based on three case studies, one in Brazil and two in Japan. The importance defined is the communication type defined for the activities related to an architectural project of a green building varies into hierarchical to opened communication, directly connected to the final result of a project process flow and the outputs of it, related to the communication boundary, mainly into the involvement of certain professionals into the green solutions recognized and identified at each building as a case study, which configured the start point of the understanding of the performance of them.
