Integrated Design and Control System for Robotic Inspection and Restoration
Remanufacture is the industrialization of the maintenance Tor the worn productions. It has become an important approach of sustaining the society progress. In this study, a prototype system for worn workpiece inspection and restoration is proposed to meet the requirements of remanufacture. The data acquisition, analysis, design and the device control are all integrated in the presented system. Serials of engineering methods such as the executor calibration, three dimension (3D) surface scanning and robot path planning are employed and implemented in the particular software developed for this system. The actual experiments demonstrate that this system is stable and effective.
