Research on the traffic data analysis of NC200 based on VB programming
NC200 is an instrument used to measure the parameters of traffic stream. However, it often involves a large amount of time to analyze the data using the software of HDS because of the large number of sample. Besides, the statistical results can only obtain the speed and volume in one-hour interval without classifying vehicle types, which can not meet the needs of research. By referring to the actual demands of research and outputting format, a program based on VB was developed to deal with the problem, which can compile statistics of the speed and volume data in random interval classified by vehicle types. Then an example was computed by the program, which revealed that it could perform the work excellently.
