Radiated Immunity Testing in Reverberation Chamber

This paper concerns the comparison between stirredmode and tuned-mode of reverberation chamber: in particular, the case of an immunity test is considered. FX7302 electrocardiograph is adopted as a device under test and repeatability of test method is investigated by a large number of experiments. As expected from theory, the susceptibility threshold of tuned-mode is the average one by means of the number of the independent position of the stirrer. Statistical mean time and rotation speed, over the stirrer rotation, are considered to search for an acceptable test method. Empirical data suggest that no matter whichever speed is chosen, the repeatability of stirred-mode is always better than tuned-mode, while the results are lower than the later. Along with the increasing speed, the susceptibility threshold of EUT tends to decrease.
