Research on RAIM Algorithm in Global Positioning System
Receiver autonomous integrity monitoring (RAIM) method is one of the most important technologies in GPS. It is widely utilized to improve the navigation and positioning accuracy of GPS receivers by detecting and identifying faulty satellites. The detailed procedures of Least-square residuals RAIM algorithm are discussed in this paper. Experiment results in the end show that the Least-square residuals RAIM algorithm can not only detect and identify faulty satellite correctly, but also improve the positioning precision effectively.
