Analysis on the Relationship between Role Stress, Emotional Intelligence and Employees Satisfaction

The study takes service firms as examples to find that the role pressure of staff have significant negative impact on satisfaction, emotional intelligence not only has a positive impact on employee satisfaction, but also reduced the negative impact of role stress. Therefore, managers need to identify sources of role stress, proper handle of employee work and family conflicts and differences expectation between the role, nurture emotional intelligence of employees to improve employee satisfaction and to promote them produce organizational citizenship behaviors and customer oriented behaviors.
