A New optimizing algorithm used on the prediction of the fault of the transformer

The use of BP optimized by Genetic Algorithm can, to some extend, improve the precision of prediction. But the Genetic Algorithm is limit due to its characters: premature and local converge. In this paper, Artificial Immunization Genetic Algorithm instead of Simple Genetic Algorithm is used. Besides, the Fuzzy control is adopted to control the crossover and mutation probabilities so that adaptive Artificial Immunization Genetic Algorithm is formed. The proposed model is used on prediction of dissolved gas in the transformers. The results show that the new algorithm overcomes the shortcomings of Simple Genetic Algorithm. The predicting precision is increased. The algorithm has some certain values on the research and the application.
