The Design of Wind Direction, Wind Speed, Temperature, Humidity Data Acquisition System based on AT89C4051

In order to collect parameters such as wind speed, wind direction, temperature and humidity easily and effectively, a kind of data acquisition system is designed. In this paper, it explains the main design method, the principle of system operation, the process of designing the hardware and the software. The hardware uses multiple high definition sensors and RS232 communication; The software includes two parts: slave computer and master computer. The slave computer is a microcontroller system based on MCU AT89C4051, which uses assembly language to provide a stable data acquisition and control. The master computer uses a database management system combining Visual Basic (VB), which has a strong interface, with Access database in order to implement control algorithm, data storage, analysis and processing. This design is based on the real engineering environment. The real-time operation verified the stability and reliability of the system.
