Study on the Control of PMSMs Based on MARS Sliding Mode Load Torque Observer

In order to overcome the influence on governing system due to the variaiation of load torque.a MRAS load torque observer of PMSM using the sliding mode approach is proposed in paper. This observer is used to realize identification of load torque and compensate the torque variation on-line. The simulation results demonstrate that the PMSM drive system with sliding mode load torque observer has good dynamic and static performance and robustness.
