Ultrasound Estimation of Fetal Weight Using Single Multiplicative Neuron Model Using crown coccyx lenght
This study was undertaken to evaluate the accuracy of using single multiplicative neuron model for estimation of fetal weight at 12-34 weeks gestation. First, as the training group we performed Ultrasound (US) examination on 116 healthy singleton fetuses within 3 days of delivery because of tear in amniotic sac thats leads to premature delivery. 4 input variables were used to construct single multiplicative neuron model: abdo- minal circumference (AC), biparietal diameter (BPD), crown coccyx length (CCL) and femur length (FL) parameters. Second a total of 76 fetuses were assessed subsequently as the validation group. In the validation group the mean absolute error and the mean absolute percent error was 191.11 g and 6.23% respectively. In conclusion, single multiplicative neuron model could provide acceptable US estimation of fetal weight.
