Research of the Temperature Control System of PEM Fuel Cell
This paper studies of the effect of the battery temperature and two extreme magnets on the performance of proton exchange membrane fuel cell (PEMFC). The main approach is to utilize the test system of proton exchange pool monomer to measure the battery performance under different working temperature and gas humidifying temperature. Experimental results for all the combinations of 3 temperatures within certain range and interval are obtained. Through data analysis, the following conclusions are made: under all working conditions except temperature, battery operating temperature and humidification temperature of cathode and anode have fixed and orderly effect on to the battery performance, that under low current, the battery performance is independent to the temperature, but depends on its geometric parameter; and the polarization curve of electromagnetic exist two transition zones, which only appear in certain interval. The experimental results have important guidance on the design and optimization of the structure of PEMFC.
