The Research of Advancing the Apparent Permeability for the Core of the Inductive Magnetic Sensor
To detect large depth,Magneto-Telluric(MT) requires a wide frequency range magnetic sensor. Nevertheless,the lower frequency is ,the weaker inductive voltage of the search coil becomes. For making the broad frequency magnetic sensor,improving the initial sensitivity is the key. As the resonant frequency,volume,weight of the sensor are limited,enhancing apparent permeability of the core is the primary means. In this paper, we added magnetic flux concentrators on both sides of the core, as a result, the apparent permeability increase by 33.6% at the center, 2.1 times at the edge when the flux concentrators diameter is 7cm and height 1cm .By this means we increased the initial sensitivity ,reduced the size, expanded the band of the sensor.The result is satisfactory.
