Research on Single-axis Rotation Modulated Scheme for RLG INS
It is significant to research the rotation modulated scheme because it affects the accuracy and reliability of inertial navigation system (INS) with utilizing rotation modulated technique (RMT). First the principle of single-axis RMT is analyzed theoretically based on measure model of inertial measure unit (IMU). Then single direction rotation, reciprocating rotation and four position indexed scheme are lucubrated. Finally, the simulation experiments are carried out. Analytic and simulation results indicate that the constant error is introduced by single direction rotation scheme, which increase the navigation error; the others can depress the influences of instrumental errors, which can increase the accuracy of INS; among of these rotation modulated scheme, four position indexed scheme is suited to project application due to its less rotation time and high reliability.
