Design and Implementation of Cross-Platform Indoor Localization System Based on TinyOS
The whole design of the system, which contains device selection and deployment, is one of the key factors in implementation of localization system. In this paper, Crossbows TelosB motes and TIs CC2430 nodes have been adopted as the mainly communication devices in the system for their advantages of low power, low price and can be easily carried by individuals in the office. Because communication between TelosB and CC2430 is based on different hard platforms and, consequently, how to communicate with each other on cross-platform becomes another key factor in the system. We eventually accomplished cross-platform communication and implemented the cross-platform indoor localization system by protocol analysis, design and system transplant.
