Advantages and Limitations of Eigenfactor Metrics in Evaluating CSSCI Law Journals

摘要：

Using the Eigenfactor Metrics, this study analyzes data extracted from 21 law journals from 2003-2007 in CSSCI database. The results show that comparing with impact factor evaluation, the Eigenfactor Metrics has its advantages and limitations. Some suggestions are presented to improve the effectiveness of this journal evaluation tool.
