Referencing Characteristic for Ph.D Dissertations: A Case Study of Dalian University of Technology

摘要：

This case study is a citation analysis of 971 PhD. dissertations submitted at Dalian University of Technology in China. The mean number of reference per paper, percentile of Non-Chinese reference, Price Index and other indicators are used to investigate the reference distribution of PhD. dissertations. Some interesting results are discussed.
