Study on the Regional Distribution of Higher Education Resources in China--Based on the Chinese Universities Evaluation Ranking in 2010
Chinas higher education has made a rapid development during recent decades. However the imbalance of regional distribution of higher education resources still exists. This paper makes a quantitative description and empirical analysis on the regional distribution of higher education from the aspects of quantity and quality, based on the results of Chinese universities and subjects evaluation released by RCCSE and the valuable data accumulated during the evaluation process over the recent years. Reasons are also discussed from the aspects of historical, economical and political.
