Teaching Evaluation and Efficiency of Institutions of Higher Learning: Case Study in a College in Chongqing

We analyzed the individual universitys cost efficiency, technical efficiency, scale and scope economies by using parametric SFA. We found the teaching evaluation has a direct impact on the efficiency, such as the teacher-student ratios greatly improved before the teaching evaluation, the overall efficiency of downward trend after the teaching evaluation.
