Modeling and Simulation of CONWIP Systems for Low-volume But More-varieties Products
CONWIP product control system has received a great deal of attention of researchers after the proposing of MRP and KANBAN. It has become one research focus of production control methods. But currently research is fasten upon the especially environment, and ignore the effect of factor change. The paper, based on Petri Net, establish a model of CONWIP system. Meanwhile, this model is simulated by software of Arena. and compare the performance of MRP,KANBAN and CONWIP, the result of simulation also validate this model effectively.
