The Research on the Supply of Basic Education in Tibet-Based on the Analysis of Equalization
Due to the dual structure of essential public services in urban and rural areas, the basic public services between urban and rural areas of ethnic areas are of great differences, the gap has been widened instead of narrowed. Nevertheless, the public service offerings of the urban and rural areas in Tibet is a exception. The central government and the government of the Tibet Autonomous Region have given more fundings to the basic education and some other essential public services, and further ensured the priority to the social vulnerable group. While the essential public service offering and distribution actually increasing inequality in a majority of areas in our country, especially some less developed area, these will certainly narrow the gap of essential public services between urban and rural area. This paper is illustrated by the supply of basic education in Tibet, hopes for offering some elicitation to the equalization of essential public services in ethnic areas.
